“There's nothing wrong with you baby.”

“Then why do they all pick on me?!”

“They just don't know any better.”

“Well can't someone enlighten them?! I'm sick of living like this!”

“It doesn't matter what they think sweetheart.”

“I know! I don't know why I still care but...”

“I promise you, it'll get better.”

“How do you know...?”

“Look at me baby.”

“...”

“You're perfect just the way you are.”

“There's got to be something wrong with me...”

“No baby. Who you love is your business, and it's not a decision you can make. It's made for you when you're born, and there's nothing wrong with that. You're no different from anyone else. You're beautiful and perfect just the way you are, and I will always love you. I promise.”

“Do...do you really mean that...?”

“With all my heart.”

“...Can I ask you something?”

“Anything.”

“Do you think I'll fall in love someday like you and Dad?”

“I think you will baby. But...”

“...But?”

“No man or woman will ever love you as much as your Mom does.”

“Ha ha, shut up Mom... I love you too.”

There are So many things for me to say about this deviation I don't even know where to begin.
I will say this though:
This will be the same thing I tell my future child (or children) if they are a part of the LGBTQ community.

I can not stand prejudice in ANY way; whether it be racial, based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc...

I may not know what it's like to be ridiculed for my sexual orientation, but I do know what it's like to be bullied, as well as made fun of for my religious beliefs. But I honestly can't imagine how hard it must be to be ridiculed just for being who you are.

This was my way of saying It get's better, and I PROMISE you it does. Stay Strong, keep your head up, and always know that there is someone out there on this earth that loves and cares about you. It may even be someone you don't know.
